Two clear advantages for daily use: aplanatic optics (distortion free viewing) combined with a sturdy housing made of chrome-plated brass. You can optionally purchase this linen tester version with a scale (see "Spec" for details).

Features

Equipped with an aplanatic lens system, the Tech-Line linen tester fulfills the highest optical requirements. The optics are made of silicate glass, which is very scratch-resistant, has a very high sharpness and produces an extremely high contrast image- Schweizer uses a UV absorbent optical crown as used with prescription lenses (refractive index n=1.52)

The base is shock-resistant and has a low-reflection surface. The housing is made of chrome-plated brass. Linen tester 1408011 (no picture) contains a scale embedded in low reflection glass in the base floor (10mm; 1mm) and this can be added below in options.
